LHWH Advertising Wins Regional Health Care Marketing Awards

Myrtle Beach, SC (PRWeb) December 3, 2006 -- LHWH Advertising & Public Relations of Myrtle Beach, S.C., recently received two honors from the Carolinas Healthcare and Public Relations Marketing Society (CHPRMS). A "Golden Wallie" Award, CHPRMS's highest honor, was awarded to LHWH for their work with Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield, N.C., and a "Silver Wallie" Award was presented to them for their work with McLeod Health in Florence, S.C.

LHWH won the Golden Wallie Award in the Print Advertising (Single Ad) category for the Johnston Cancer Center - "People Come From All Over The World" ad, which highlighted the strategic partnership between Duke University Health System and Johnston Memorial Hospital. The ad appeared in the April 2006 issue of North Carolina magazine. In addition, LHWH also garnered a Silver Wallie Award in the Television Advertising (Single Ad) category for McLeod Health's "Breast Health Center" 30-second spot. The purpose of this ad was to bring awareness about the new center. It also aired again in October in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
